The council is a unitary authority in Northern Lincolnshire situated within the Yorkshire and Humber region. The council’s procurement strategy sets out its ambitions in terms of effective procurement and sets the framework how the council will achieve value for money.

The strategic procurement and value for money unit provides support and advice to services responsible for procurement, ranging across many categories. The strategic procurement and value for money unit aspires to be at the forefront of modern procurement practice and ensures its dealings are transparent and equal to all suppliers, whether small/large, voluntary/community or social enterprises.
